Alaska WildGear is locally owned and operated in Soldotna Alaska by Doug and Rona Hodges. Along with their four children, they have lived in Alaska for over 25 years. They love Alaska and enjoy camping, fishing, hiking, and all that Alaska has to offer. Alaska WildGear was established in 2006 as a way to share their love of the state with locals and the many visitors that come each year. Alaska is a unique and beautiful place, hence the Alaska WildGear motto: “This Ain’t the Lower Forty Eight.”
